This magnificent collection of 28 prayers recited exclusively by women has been created by a contemporary Israeli artist, whose colorful work adorns the Hebrew, Ladino and Yiddish texts. The prayers correspond to a woman's complete life cycle, from the birth of a daughter, to a bat mitzva, for a bride, during pregnancy, on parenting, and more. Traditional prayers like Eshet Hayil are here, but so too is a prayer stated before Torah study, and a rendering of the 115 names of women in the Torah in the order in which they appear.
