Rabbi Benji Levy is the CEO of Mosaic United, a joint venture partnership between Israel and global Jewry to strengthen Jewish identity and connections to Israel for youth around the world.
He served for six years as the Dean of Moriah College in Sydney, Australia, with over 1,800 pre-kindergarten through high school students. During this period he created a renaissance in Jewish life and was presented with the inaugural Australian Educator of the Year Award for his leadership and service to the community. Rabbi Benji was named by Makor Rishon as one of the top three 2019 change-makers working for world Jewry, is the author of the forthcoming The New Old Path: Torah for the Twenty-First Century, and frequently shares his thoughts through social media @Rabbi Benji. He holds a BA in Media and Communications and Honors in Jewish Civilization Thought & Culture from the University of Sydney and an Education degree from Herzog College in Israel. Following his study at Yeshivat Har Etzion he received rabbinic ordination and is currently completing his PhD in Jewish philosophy, for which he received the Australian Postgraduate Award.
Rabbi Benji lives in Jerusalem with his wife Renana and their children Shayna, Yehuda, Lital, and Amalia.
